Helen Adam is a former solicitor and now works exclusively as a mediator, as a founding partner at Wells Family Mediation. She was the mediator representative on the Private Law Working Group, and since then has chaired the Family Solutions Group. Their original report ‘What about me? Reframing Support for Families following Separation’ was published in 2020 and highlighted the need to restore child welfare to the centre in systems operating largely for adults. Further FSG reports have followed on. Helen continues to mediate and press for early resolution and child-centred systems for families following separation.
