Dr Sharon Thompson
Dr Sharon Thompson is Reader in Law at Cardiff University. Her research specialises in adult relationships, with particular focus on power, inequality and the gender of money. She has published widely on family law, including two monographs: Prenuptial Agreements and the Presumption of Free Choice (Bloomsbury, 2015) and Quiet Revolutionaries (Bloomsbury, 2022). Sharon is also co-author of the 5th edition of Family Law: Text, Cases, and Materials (OUP, 2023) with Jo Miles and Rob George.

Dr Charlotte Bendall
Dr Charlotte Bendall is an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Birmingham. Her research to date has focused on a range of topics, including same-sex relationship breakdown, couple finances, and the position of grandparents in the event of family fragmentation. Jim Hitch
Jim Hitch co-founded Casedo in 2017 with Casedo creator and barrister Ross Birkbeck. He’s been the Secretary Trustee of the grant-giving mental health charity The Pixel Fund since 2016 and previous to that spent nine years on the board of Southern Housing Group. Most importantly, he spends as much time in the outdoors as possible with his partner and three daughters, preferably in their now beat-up motorhome. He is banned from going on about his family at work.
