Lucy Reed is a barrister practising at St John’s Chambers and The 36 Group, specialising in children cases and family cases with a privacy / transparency angle. She is a DDJ and Recorder. Lucy is Chair of The Transparency Project and a legal blogger. She is a member of the FLBA National Committee, of the President’s Transparency Implementation Group and of the Justice Working Party on Access to Justice for Separating Families. She is the author of The Family Court without a Lawyer – A Handbook for Litigants in Person (Bath Publishing, 4th Edn forthcoming), and the co-author of Transparency in the Family Court – Publicity and Privacy in Practice (Reed, Doughty, Magrath, Bloomsbury Publishing, 2018). Lucy has been writing her Pink Tape blog since 2007 and tweets as @familoo.
