Professor Thérèse Callus is Professor of Law at the University of Reading and has been seconded as a lawyer in the Property, Family and Trusts team at the Law Commission to work on the Financial Remedies Scoping Paper. She previously carried out empirical comparative research on financial remedies on divorce and cohabitation breakdown, and served on the Advisory Group to the Law Commission’s Matrimonial Property, Needs and Agreements Report.
